What is Orange Jam?
Orange Jam is an in-person game development hackathon for all ages and experience levels. Use any platform — from Scratch and game engines like Unity or Unreal to simple command line games. Everything is judged equally, so that anyone can jump in, create, and compete.

The Challenge
Given a theme, you have 10 hours to develop a video game or interactive experience.
AI-Friendly
AI tools are welcome to help level the playing field for everyone.
One-Day Event
Everything happens in one exciting day — with lunch, snacks, guest speakers, and more.
Win Prizes
Cash, trophies, and sponsor-backed prizes await the top teams in each division.

Our History
The Orange Game Jam began as an initiative by the Computer Club at University High School in Orlando, Florida with the goal of creating an accessible competition for students of all backgrounds and skill levels while expanding computer science opportunities for high school students.
